First edited in 2002. Due to the characteristics of this type of printing, this 2006 edition is the 2nd and last.

The engraving is another version of a theme Ofill painted several times from 1999 to 2005.

*Etching: Is traditionally the process of using strong acid or mordant to cut into the unprotected parts of a metal surface to create a design in intaglio (incised) in the metal.

A **Sugar Lift is a way of creating painterly marks on an etching plate using a sugar solution and a paint brush. The areas you paint are a positive mark. It is a form of ***Aquatint etching, which uses powdered rosin to create a tonal effect.
